Thanks to two rounds of 68 strokes, Ludvig Åberg had passed the qualifying limit by a margin and was a split ten with six under par - in what is his first PGA Tour competition in his career.

The Swede, who is ranked third in the world as an amateur, however, had a heavier Saturday in Bermuda.

Åberg had two bogeys on the first six holes.

It then became more stable with two bogeys and empty par, but on the last five holes there were two new bogeys and Åberg landed on 73 strokes, two over par.

Thus, the Swede loses 33 places and is now split 43rd before Sunday.

The starting field's second Swede, David Lingmerth, went around 69 strokes, two under par, and is split 56th.

Leading is still Canadian Taylor Pendrith at -17, three strokes ahead of Danny Lee.

Pendrith followed up Friday's super round of 61 strokes with 65 strokes on Saturday.
