Hanna Berzelius' two victories so far, have come after hard hours in the rain and difficult driving conditions.

The weather forecast for the 38th edition today promises a break and good conditions.

- I think it will be a little different.

That's the only thing I've ridden in here, rain!

So that's what I feel safe in. So in a way it would have been nice to know what to expect, now it will be something new and it is always a bit exciting, says Hanna Berzelius to SVT Sport.

As a two-time winner of GGN, she knows exactly how demanding the competition is during her three hours at full speed.

- You know what to expect and it will be damn tough.

Then I ran two three-hour races earlier this year, so it feels like the body has gotten into it a bit.

"Try to take it a little piano"

Motocross rider Sandra Karlsson, who was two in this year's SM (open senior class) and with both EC and WC merits on her CV, is charging for her first start in GGN.

- There is a lot to take in, and it feels exciting to be here.

I do not really know what to expect yet, says Sandra Karlsson to SVT Sport.

She has received some advice before her GGN debut and has a starting plan after the start.

- I will try to take it a little piano because I have been told that it can be quite slippery on the limestone here.

But we'll see, I'll try to lie down as best I can and minimize the mistakes so it will surely be good.

Among the pre-favorites on the women's side is also mentioned Norwegian 20-year-old Vilde Marie Holt.

She recently finished the World Championship in Enduro where she finished in 7th place overall.

In 2015, she won Lilla GGN and has additional podium places on Gotland as a junior.

Now it's time for a debut in the elite class.

- The course is much larger and there are several elements that are a little more difficult.

You have to be focused when driving and make good choices.

I will try to drive as fast as I can from the start and then increase even more.
