Colombian striker Deron Asprilla scored a stunning acrobatic goal for his team, Portland Timbers, after a catastrophic error from the San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper, in the American Football League, on Wednesday.

Asprilla took advantage of the fatal mistake of the San Jose goalkeeper, after the latter failed to catch an easy cross ball and slipped from his hands, so that the Colombian striker snatched it from him and prepared it for himself and shot it with an acrobatic back falling from outside the penalty area, to live in the net.

MLS fans asked if the goal reminded them of that which Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in England in 2012.

Ibrahimovic had scored his historic goal in England in almost the same way, after taking advantage of the goalkeeper's mistake from outside the penalty area to hit the ball directly with an acrobatic movement, scoring his distinctive goal.
