On October 21, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association came with the message that teams that choose not to play the matches in hockey will be punished with a 0-5 loss.

Before this decision was in place, four scheduled matches had not been played.

Örnsköldsvik and Kalix had chosen not to play away against Boden and Mörrum and Vimmerby had chosen not to play away against Karlskrona.

It is now clear that Boden and Karlskrona will win these matches 5-0 after a decision in the association's competition committee.

That opponents choose not to play against Boden and Karlskrona is due to the fact that these clubs have chosen not to sign the league's TV contract.

The four opposing teams have, for fear of not receiving compensation, therefore not played away matches against Boden and Karlskrona.
