Real Madrid coach confirms his preference for other players over Hazard

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he prefers other players to Belgian winger Eden Hazard.

Hazard has suffered from frequent injuries since his move to the royal team from Chelsea for 115 million dollars in the summer of 2019, and Ancelotti did not involve him at all during the Clasico match that his team defeated his traditional rival Barcelona 2-1 in the latter's backyard.

Hazard, 30, has played only four matches in the domestic league this season, knowing that he finally suffered a muscle injury.

Ancelotti confirmed that Hazard is available again to participate, but he is choosing both Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo because of their efficiency.

He said in this regard, "Hazard has everything, but he has to live with this. He is not playing at the moment, but he has all the ingredients as a Real Madrid player, including quality and motivation, but sometimes the coach prefers other players."

"The most important thing for me is that he has the motivation to work and play, he does it at the moment and he will have the opportunity."

Ancelotti revealed that Welsh winger Gareth Bale has returned to training after recovering from a hamstring muscle tear, and he can play in the last match for Real, scheduled for November 6, before the international window.

"The doctors gave him the green light to resume training after conducting the necessary tests. He started training individually and will join group training next week. The only match before the start of the international window will be against Rayo Vallecano."
