The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation has announced the presentation of a package of huge cash prizes, with a total value of 800,000 dollars (about three million dirhams) to the winners of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Championship.

The 13th edition of the championship will be launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, from 14 to 19 November, at Jujitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in the capital, Abu Dhabi. It is expected that the competitions will have the participation of more than 4,000 male and female players, from more than 90 countries, in the junior, senior and master categories to compete for the titles of the different weight categories.

A press release said: “Participants in the adult category of black belt holders win a total of cash prizes of up to 126,000 dollars, where the winners receive 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 dollars for the first three places, while the winners of the brown belts get total prizes of up to more From $73,000, where the winners receive $1,500, $3000 and $6000 for the same positions, the cash prize for the first men’s masters category, in which black belt holders, over 30 years old, participate in the competition, is between $1,500, 3000 and $6000 for the first three places.
