Al-Ain maintained its lead in the ADNOC Professional League after its victory over Al-Wasl in its own home, in the seventh round of the ADNOC Professional League, but will the leader succeed in achieving the permanent statement;

If the eye is on the lead, he will not leave it easily?

The teams competing for the title helped Al-Ain move away from the lead by losing Al-Jazira and Sharjah. On the other hand, Al-Nasr returned again despite the bad start, and it has become at the center of the competition, as it is four points behind the leaders Al-Ain.

Shabab Al-Ahly returned to the runner-up position and was the most effective team in its important match against Al-Jazira, and won a historic match that witnessed the return of the foreign whistle to the league after an absence of 36 years from the UAE League, and the Turkish referee Shakir withdrew the lights in the seventh round, and the greatest focus was on his decisions and how The players dealt with him, which helped the referee greatly, as the players did not object to the referee and accepted all decisions, unlike dealing with citizen rulers.

Referee Shakir managed to get the match out to safety, but the positive thing in the match is the speed of the referee’s handling of the video technology, as he canceled two goals with one goal for each team in less than a minute by returning to the “mouse”, in contrast to the very large time that the citizen referee needs in Decision-making, in addition to not blowing the whistle in every contact and stopping play, which is the nature of playing in European leagues, which helps to increase the actual time of matches.

Al-Nasr won over Sharjah and ousted coach Abdulaziz Al-Anbari from leading the team, after three seasons in which the coach returned his team to the path of victories and won the absent league title with him. again and back to weak levels.

The competition in the middle area has become more fierce with the presence of more than one team, including Ajman, Khorfakkan, Al Wahda, Al Wasl and Ittihad Kalba, all of which are teams capable of winning any match at any time. As for the relegation struggle, the matter may be clear with the presence of the Emirates team, which has seven consecutive defeats in the league, and with it Arabism, but mathematically all the teams have chances of staying in the tournament because of the weak points difference.

Audience question

"Emirates Today" monitored a question about the public's opinion about the level of foreign rule that appeared for the first time in the seventh round: "What is your assessment of the first appearance of foreign rule in the Emirates stadiums after an absence of 36 years, at the Al-Ahly and Al-Jazeera youth summit?

Four answers were monitored, namely: a successful experience, the referee's level is superior to the match, he was not subjected to any real test, and is no different from the citizen referee.

The audience welcomed the foreign referee in the vote, in which 320 voters participated, where 48.8% chose a successful trial, and a choice came that did not differ from the citizen referee by 24.4% of the voters, while 13.8% confirmed that the referee’s level is higher than the match, while the fourth option came, which is “He was not exposed.” for any real test” with a rate of 13.1%.

For his part, technical analyst Khaled Obaid confirmed that Al-Ahly youth succeeded in dealing with the match with the thought of coach Mahdi Ali, and the coach surprised the visiting team with the formation of the beginning.

He explained: "Indeed, it was the match of the week, and Mahdi Ali deserved the full mark in it, unlike the Al-Jazira team, which appeared with major mistakes in the defense line and problems that the team had not shown before that caused the loss of the match."

Khaled Obaid indicated that the players greatly helped the referee in making decisions, and that the referee was more experienced in dealing with different situations.

Obaid told "Emirates Today": "Al-Ain played a strong match and succeeded in winning over Al-Wasl to maintain the lead in merit. The victory also took advantage of the difficult situation of the Sharjah team and the big defensive mistakes made by the team, and achieved a great victory and deserved it, and certainly the return of victory to the competition will give The tournament is more important and bigger.”
