Lucas Raymond has got a taste start in his professional life.

Barely a week ago, he scored his very first goal of his NHL career.

Last night he did his first hat trick.

With one goal in each period, and also an assist, he was almost on his own behind the team's 6-3 victory over Chicago.

- It is clear that it was fun, says the 19-year-old from Gothenburg.

- Because we came back after yesterday (1-6 against Montreal) but most of all because I did my first hat trick.

This was a very special evening.

Takes place among Detroit's legends

1-0 came when Tyler Bertuzzi from the rim found a completely free Raymond, who could calmly take a couple of cuts forward and place the puck in the net.

The Swede's second goal, to 5-2, came when he with a minute left of the second period poked a return in an open goal.

And the third, in period three, was a direct shot in powerplay.

- Lucas is a really smart player, good defensively and always in good positions for the offensive game, says coach Jeff Blashill and especially praises the Swede's collaboration with chain mates Bertuzzi and Dylan Larkin.

The three goals against Chicago also entered the young Swede in Detroit's history books, he is along with the legends Gordie Howe and Steve Yzerman the only teenager who scored four points in one and the same match.
