Araujo double leads Al Wasl to cup quarter-finals

Al-Wasl qualified for the quarter-finals of the Professional Cup, after beating Baniyas with two goals without a response, in the second leg of the first round at Al-Wasl Stadium in Zabeel, to ascend the "Emperor" to the quarter-finals by winning the total of the home and away matches with four goals against a goal.

The first half witnessed an advantage from Al Wasl, but without a threat to the Bani Yas goal, while the "heavenly" relied on the runs of Gaston Suarez and Nicholas Jimenez, but the "Panthers" defense excelled in countering the attacks of the visiting team.

On the other hand, Al Wasl scored the first goal in the 43rd minute from an attack led by Abdullah Khamis, who played a cross and was met by Uruguayan Michel Araujo with a direct shot in the goal, while Fabio Lima almost added the second goal with a powerful shot over the crossbar.

In the second half, Michel Araujo added the second goal after Fabio Lima played a cross and Boetker prepared it for Arajo, who shot a powerful ball into the goal (77), to end the match with Al Wasl victory.
