Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship kicks off November 14

The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship will kick off in its thirteenth session under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, from 14 to 19 November at Jiu-Jitsu Arena, Zayed Sports City.

For his part, the President of the UAE and Asian Federations, and First Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, said in a press statement: “Jijitsu has recorded a path of success at the global level thanks to the support of the wise leadership of sports and the game’s champions from the stars of our national team who excelled in all their local and international participation in all They have won many medals at all levels and imposed a new reality on the global competition scene, and they are now preparing with their fellow club players to represent the country in the best way in the 13th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

He added: “The launch of the competition for the thirteenth edition of the championship coincides with the country’s celebrations of the fiftieth year, which represents an important station in the journey of giving in the past fifty years, and a strong starting point towards continuing the achievements with determination in the next fifty years, and out of our responsibility as an authority responsible for the sport of jiu-jitsu. And to develop and promote it in the country and abroad, we pledge to continue to work to raise its presence at the local level, and lead the scene in both Asia and the world.”
