German Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel will have to start from the rear at the United States Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 34-year-old Aston Martin captain will use his fourth engine of the season.

He automatically receives a grid penalty.

This also happened to Max Verstappen, the leader in the World Cup standings, and defending champion Lewis Hamilton, among others.

The use of three motorcycles per season is allowed without penalties.

Vettel is in his first season with Aston Martin.

The four-time world champion is currently in disappointing twelfth place in the World Cup standings, with six races to go.
