This weekend it's time for the Alpine World Cup premiere in Sölden, Austria.

The ladies start on Saturday and on Sunday it's time for the men.

A total of six Swedes compete, including Sara Hector who was on the podium in the World Cup last year and did her best season in terms of points.

SVT Sports expert Tobias Hellman holds Hector as the biggest Swedish jump in this weekend's giant slalom.

- Sara did her best season last year and was up on the podium early in the season, we can hope for her, says Hellman.

Do not want to talk about performance goals

In February, the Olympic Games in Chinese Beijing await.

If Hector is selected, she will make her third straight Olympic game.

However, the Swede does not want to talk about performance targets.

- For me, it's a lot about just giving the iron every competition.

It's mostly in it, I have not set up that I will win Olympic gold.

I know that if I do, I will go there and think "now I will win Olympic gold, now I will win Olympic gold" and then I will not think about what I do and then I will not win Olympic gold.

I need to focus on things that I can influence because then I have the chance to reach my goals, she says to SVT Sport.

Two Swedish men compete

Estelle Alphand, Hilma Lövblom and Hanna Aronsson-Elfman will also start in the ladies' giant slalom.

On the men's side, Mattias Rönngren and Tobias Windingstad compete.

You can watch the ladies' first ride on SVT1 / Play at 09.55 and the second, also on SVT1 / Play, at 13.10.

The men compete on Sunday starting at 09.55 on SVT1 / Play.
