A painful blow to Dortmund in the absence of Haaland

Norwegian international striker Erling Braut Haaland will miss "a few weeks" of competition, after suffering a hip injury, the Borussia Dortmund coach announced on Friday, which constitutes a major setback for the German club, which relies a lot on its young star.

Marco Rose said, during a press conference on the sidelines of his team's match against its host, Armenia Bielefeld, in the league, on Saturday, that Haaland "will miss a few weeks due to a hip injury," adding that his return "will take a little time."

The 21-year-old played the full match, in which Dortmund suffered a 4-0 defeat against its Dutch host Ajax in Amsterdam, on Wednesday, in the third round of the third group matches of the Champions League.
