He does not yet have a statue or a song to his glory in Rennes.

But Julien Stéphan obviously holds a special place in the hearts of Stade Rennais supporters.

It was under his orders that the Breton club experienced its finest hours of glory, notably bringing back a Coupe de France in the Breton capital in 2019 after 48 years of famine.

We will also remember the fabulous epic in the Europa League the same year and the qualification in the Champions League the following year.

After a series of defeats, the Breton coach announced his surprise resignation at the end of February.

This announcement had caused an avalanche of reactions from supporters.

Eight months later, Julien Stéphan, now coach of the Racing Club de Strasbourg, will make his comeback on Sunday afternoon at Roazhon Park.

There is no doubt that the reunion will be rich in emotions.

On this occasion,

20 Minutes
