Substitute Alexandre Lacazette scored with the last shot of the match to give Arsenal a 2-2 home draw with Crystal Palace in a volatile and exciting Premier League game on Monday.

With second-half goals by Christian Benteke and Odson-Edouard, Palace came from behind to lead 2-1 after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal ahead early, but Lacazette's late goal denied the visitors a victory.

Aubameyang followed up a rebound from goalkeeper Vicente Guaita when blocking Nicolas Pepe's shot to score from close range in an exciting start at the Emirates Stadium.

Benteke equalized in the 50th minute with a shot from 15 meters. Both teams missed several chances during the sparring, and Edward scored his goal with great skill.

The French striker, who joined Palace from Celtic this season, hit a superb shot on the edge of the penalty area after an incursion and the ball hit the crossbar before hitting the net.

When Palace appeared to have sealed the victory, they failed to clear a corner kick in stoppage time, giving Lacazette a chance to score against Guaita.

The draw raised Arsenal's tally to 11 points in 12th place, while Crystal Palace raised its tally to 8 points in 14th place.
