A new penalty awaits Zamalek from the International Federation.. deduction of points or relegation to the second degree

An official source in the Zamalek club revealed to "Al-Emarat Al-Youm" that his club is awaiting a new penalty from the International Football Association, for not ending some outstanding problems with coaches and players who have financial dues to the Egyptian club.

The source, who asked not to be named, said that Zamalek may surprise in the coming days by deducting three or six points from its balance in the local league, and if these financial problems continue without finding any solutions, it may find itself facing the decision to drop to the lowest degree.

The Portuguese coach, Jaime Pacheco, had rejected the friendly solutions that Zamalek requested to resort to to settle his financial dues, and insisted on obtaining those sums, estimated at 450 thousand euros, without installments.

Pacheco complained to the Zamalek administration, demanding one million and 700 thousand euros, after the club unilaterally terminated the contract.
