SV Darmstadt 98 was successful against its former coach Markus Anfang and SV Werder Bremen.

With a 3-0 (1-0) victory, the "lilies" made a big leap towards the top ranks.

Luca Pfeiffer scored two goals (65th minute, 71st), before Fabian Holland (45th) had taken the lilies in the lead in the stadium at Böllenfalltor, which was sold out with 13,000 spectators.

For the Darmstadt team it was the second win in a row after the 6-1 victory before the international break at SV Sandhausen.

Bremen's head coach beginning was greeted with loud whistles before the game and also had to endure insults during the game after leaving the South Hesse in June after just one year despite an ongoing contract.

In an intense game with even proportions of the game, scoring chances remained in short supply for a long time.

Immediately before the break, full-back Holland hit with a remarkable shot from distance into the right corner, after the ball had initially been cleared from the penalty area.

After half-time, Bremen became stronger and had substitute Romano Schmid to equalize, but his shot in the penalty area was directed over the crossbar by goalkeeper Marcel Schuhe.

Midfielder Nicolai Rapp then blackouted himself and played a back pass into Pfeiffer's foot, who was able to insert.

Six minutes later, after a free kick from an acute angle, he made the final score.

Nuremberg also wins in Dresden

1. FC Nürnberg is the only team to remain unbeaten in the season.

Dynamo Dresden couldn't stop the club either.

The Elbestädter lost on Sunday with 0: 1 (0: 1).

Tom Krauss (21st minute) scored the winning goal in front of 16,000 spectators in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium.

This is the sixth time that Robert Klauss' team, coach of the Nuremberg football club, has not conceded a goal and remains in contact with the top group.

Dynamo started cautiously after four losses in the past five games.

In contrast, the Nuremberg, who have the best defense in the league.

They also acted efficiently up front: Krauss immediately took the first clear opportunity to take the lead.

After a cross on the far post, the midfielder scored the 1-0.

The Dresden defense was anything but solid.

As a result, Dynamo struggled to build up the game and didn't have a top-class scoring opportunity until half-time.

After the restart, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer extended a cross with his head, but Tim Handwerker was able to clarify in acute need in front of Christoph Daferner (48th).

There was an upset in the 62nd minute: Christopher Schindler pulled Königsdörffer to the ground shortly before the penalty area.

Dynamo demanded the red card due to the emergency brake.

But the referee only showed yellow.

After that, Dresden put more pressure on, but could hardly get rid of the club's defense.

Rostock with a draw in the basement duel

Hansa Rostock had to accept a small damper in the relegation battle. The team of coach Jens Härtel came against SV Sandhausen in the basement duel in front of 21,200 spectators not more than 1: 1 (0: 1) and thus missed the jump into midfield of the table. John Verhoek (54th) secured at least one point for the newcomer, Hansa remained on the relegation place as 13th with three points ahead of Sandhausen. Arne Sicker (30th) scored for the Palatinate, who showed a different face than in the clear defeat against Darmstadt (1: 6) on the previous game day.

Rostock determined the game in the first round, had significantly more possession, but left the greatest chance through Ridge Munsy (19th).

Sandhausen, on the other hand, was ice cold and took the first opportunity to take the lead.

The hit was given after video evidence.

Only after the break did the home team reward themselves for their efforts.

On the other hand, Hansa could rely on goalkeeper Markus Kolke, who parried strongly against Sandhausen striker Charlison Benschop (60th) after a serious defensive error.

In the confused final phase, dangerous situations arose in front of both goals, but no more goals.
