The SVT expert on Sweden's chances

- As our biggest star Jonna Adlerteg gives up the World Cup, Sweden has no great chances, if you are to be a giant.

But I still think that Tonya Paulsson and David Rumbutis can be part of the fight for a multi-event final.

It is important not to make any mistakes.

As it has been the Olympics this year, several of the best gymnasts are not included, which can make it a little easier without compromising any achievements.

- But it is still fierce competition.

The USA, for example, comes to the World Cup with its reserves from the Olympics, but they are still in the top ten in the world, says SVT's gymnastics expert Veronica Wagner.

Wagner's World Cup stars

* Rebecka Andrade, Brazil, all-around ladies

- Came second at the Olympics in all-around.

It was a joy to see her then.

She really took over the whole arena.

Not many people have that ability.

I just hope she explodes and sweeps the track at the World Cup.

* Angelina Melnikova, Russia, all-around ladies

- One of many strong Russian gymnasts, came third in the Olympic final in all-around behind Andrade, and is one of the world's best gymnasts.

Will challenge Andrade also at the WC.

* Kohei Uchimura, Japan, all-around men

- Won everything that could be won in all-around between 2009 and 2019. It was impossible to beat him and everyone else said that "we compete for silver and bronze".

Was very injured a few years ago, came back to the Olympics in Tokyo, but was not allowed to compete in all-around.

He gets it now, also in his hometown.
