Yesterday, during a press conference, a memorandum of understanding was signed to organize this event between the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, the Continental World Hockey League, and HC Avangard Omsk Ice Hockey Club.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, the CEO of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, Ahmed Al Khaja, the President of the Continental Hockey League, Alexei Morzov, and the President of HC Avangard, Alexander Krylov.

Saeed Hareb said, "The organization of the activities of (Dubai Ice Show) will coincide with the celebrations of the National Day and (the fiftieth year), which represents a great value for a period full of achievements drawn by the wise leadership and implemented by the loyal people of the country, and the beginning of a future stage on the same approach, it will be a bus with greater accomplishments.
