The women of VfL Wolfsburg booked a big win in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Partly thanks to goals from Dominique Janssen and Joëlle Smits, the Dutch-tinted team won 5-0 against the Swiss Servette FC.
Shortly after the break, 26-year-old Janssen made a hit from a corner that had been deflected and took care of the 4-0.
The 21-year-old Smits, who had entered the field halfway, determined the final score in the 68th minute with a controlled shot.
Janssen had already been substituted at that time.
In addition to Janssen and Smits, Jill Roord also played along.
The attacking midfielder enjoyed a basic place and provided the assist to Tabea Wassmuth's 3-0 just before half-time.
The same Wassmuth had also made it 2-0 halfway through the first half and the opening goal was made after eighteen minutes by Svenja Huth.
Shanice van de Sanden stayed on the bench at Wolfsburg, which leads group A after two matches. Later on Wednesday, the match between Juventus and Chelsea is also on the program in the same group. Keywords: joëlle smits, dominique janssen, thanks, goals, win, women, team, vfl wolfsburg, part, wolfsburg, cl, champions league, corner, assist, dutch
