Tyson Fury described himself as "the greatest heavyweight boxer of his generation" after retaining the WBC title by knockout defeating rival Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Britain's Fury was subjected to early pressure, then responded and knocked down Wilder in the third round with a strong punch, but the American boxer responded in the fourth round and dropped Fury twice with two hits to the head.

Fury held out to punish his American opponent when he dealt a decisive knockout in the 11th round to remain unbeaten in his busy career.

"I can beat any boxer of my generation, and I've done that all my life," Fury told reporters.

And he won twice in 3 matches against Wilder, after the first match ended in a draw, and the British boxer won the second fight well.
