The German national team became the first to qualify through the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, by overwhelming its host North Macedonia 4-0, the day before yesterday, in Skopje in the tenth group of European qualifiers.

The Germans waited for the second half to decide the outcome of the match in their favour, scoring four goals through Kai Haverts (50), Timo Werner (70 and 74) and Jamal Musila (84).

Thus, Germany took revenge on North Macedonia, which inflicted a historic defeat 2-1 in the first leg.

Germany raised its tally at the top of the group to 21 points, taking advantage of Armenia's 0-1 loss to its host, Romania, as it fell to third place with 12 points, leaving the second for Romania with 13 points.

Two rounds remain until the end of the qualifiers, but no one can mathematically catch up with Germany.

It is the 18th consecutive time that Germany has qualified for the football tournament since 1954, knowing that it came out of the narrow door in the World Cup in Russia in 2018 when it was stripped of the title in the first round in a group that was within its reach that included Mexico, Sweden and South Korea, but it ranked last.
