The Japan Rugby Union announced the Japan national team for a test match with Australia scheduled for the 23rd of this month in Oita City, and 37 players including Michael Leitch and Keita Inagaki were selected.

The Japanese national rugby team will face Australia in Oita City on the 23rd of this month as the first domestic test match in about two years since the World Cup Japan tournament, where they made their first foray into the Top 8.

On the 11th, 37 members of the Japanese national team who will face the match were announced.

Flanker's Reach Michael, Prop's Keita Inagaki, and Number 8's Kazuki Himeno were selected as members from the members who fought in the World Cup.

In addition, 10 players who have never participated in the test match as representatives of Japan, such as Wing's Taiji Takahashi and Shogo Nakano, were also selected.

For this match, Peter Labuschafni, who joined in the same flanker position instead of Reach, will be the captain.

The Japanese national team is currently holding a training camp in Miyazaki Prefecture, and from the 16th of this month, the training camp will be moved to Oita Prefecture to prepare for the match.
