The German national team qualified ahead of schedule for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On Monday evening, the selection of the German Football Association in Skopje won 4-0 (0-0) against North Macedonia.

With five wins in a row under the new national coach Hansi Flick, the 2014 world champion can no longer be ousted from first place in the table with 21 points two game days before the end of the qualification in November.

The German players in the individual review:

Manuel Neuer:

The captain had a quiet evening on his return after an injury break.

Called for the first time in the 26th minute.

As usual, secure support.

Lukas Klostermann:

The Leipziger should concentrate on the defensive on the right side.

Only required there for opposing counterattacks.

Niklas Süle:

The defense chief exuded enormous calm again.

Had the time to take the offensive myself every now and then.

Thilo Kehrer:

As a representative of Antonio Rüdiger (back problems) in central defense with a rock solid performance.

A real alternative in his traditional position.

David Raum:

One of the assets in the German game in his starting eleven.

The 23-year-old hit several good crosses and did a lot of leg work.

Joshua Kimmich:

In the German power center in the midfield, this time less formative.

Dangerous with the head shortly after the start of the game (2.).

Leon Goretzka:

The man from Munich struggled with the densely staggered defense of the North Macedonians and couldn't bring in his dynamism.

Taken from the seat after an hour.

Serge Gnabry:

The Torgarant had a lot of trouble on the poor grass in Skopje at first.

Then initiated the opening goal with a very strong pass.

Thomas Müller:

The Bayern leader with a strong performance on his return from the starting lineup.

Made many smart final passes and set up the first two goals.

Always playable.

Kai Havertz:

The Chelsea professional played his technique over and over again.

Cleverly occupied the gaps, initiated a number of attacks - and achieved the lead himself (50th).

After an hour it was over.

Timo Werner:

The criticism of the past few days did not leave the 25-year-old unaffected.

Unlucky for an hour - like when shooting into the post (45th + 2).

But then with two great goals to 2-0 (70th) and 3-0 (73rd).

Florian Wirtz:

The top talent came in the 61st minute for Goretzka.

At first it seemed a bit insecure, but then initiated the 2-0 well.

Karim Adeyemi:

The Salzburg man came on for Havertz a good half an hour before the end and was still in danger.

Prepared the 4-0.

Jonas Hofmann:

The Mönchengladbacher came for Gnabry for the last 15 minutes.

Seamlessly integrated into a functioning offensive.

Jamal Musiala: Substituted

for Werner a quarter of an hour before the end.

Flashed his technique.

The Munich man scored the 4-0 with strong nerves (83rd).

Florian Neuhaus:

Came for the final phase.

Arranged the German game successfully for a few more minutes.
