Last night, the San Jose Sharks won the rematch against the Vegas Golden Knights 4-0.

Then it was Swedes who showed the way.

William Eklund scored a nice goal in interaction with Rudolf Balcers.

Jonathan Dahlén also found the target.

Back star Erik Karlsson suited two of the goals.

Those achievements may have meant that Eklund, 18, and Dahlén, 23, now get a place in the team line-up in the premiere.

- They have done well all pre-season, I think both take a place, says Erik Karlsson to Aftonbladet.

Dahlén has been over in the NHL and tested before, but then returned home to Timrå and had two successful seasons there before he is now back in North America.

William Eklund is at the very beginning of his career and there it is clearly more surprising that he looks to take a place in the NHL right from the start.

He has scored six points during the pre-season and looks to be one of very few from this summer's draft that starts in the league.

- I would not say that I have surprised myself.

I had high hopes when I came here.

It is clear that I tried to get into the team, he says.

The talent is praised by his coach Bob Boughner.

- It will be a different level, especially with the intensity that it will be in a premiere.

But it solves big players and I think he will be a big player in the league.

San Jose premieres against Winnipeg next weekend.
