The Swedish handball ladies have offered great entertainment in the European Championship qualifiers so far.

The overrun against Iceland in the European Championship qualifiers (30–17) was followed by an away victory in Turkey, 31–23.

Sweden had 15-12 at half time, and even though the lead was not great, the feeling was that they had control over the events.

In the second half, the Swedes kept their distance in the results column.

Many goals came in direct game turns and the victory was not talked about until the end.

Daniela de Jong, who made her national team debut in the last qualifying match, scored her first national team goal - the last of the match - in an empty goal cage.
