Among flags, colors and Bengals, Hammarby and AIK stepped out on Tele2 Arena to be tampas in a Stockholm derby in front of a record audience.

18,337 spectators saw the home team take the lead after 20 minutes.

Madelen Janogy took advantage of a mistake and put 1-0 for Hammarby.

- They get a little disorganized, our forward chops on it, I show up at a distance and hit it into an open goal, the goal scorer says to SVT.

AIK did not create as much as "Bajen", but just before the break Kaisa Collin got a chance to equalize.

However, the shot from close range went over.

Quick replies

In the second half, it slammed in both directions in less than a minute.

First, Alice Carlsson nodded in 2-0 in the 56th minute and the home crowd cheered.

The fans had barely had time to enjoy the 2-0 goal before AIK responded, when Honoka Hayashi went deep and scored the reduction.

"Bajen" replied, however, only five minutes later.

Berglind Björg Thorvaldsdóttir received the ball in the penalty area and netted with an outside.

With a safe penalty, Emma Jansson was able to determine the final result 4-1 in the 80th minute of the match and Hammarby stood as clear winners in the derby.

"Totally fantastic"

The match was of course special thanks to the framing.

Never before has a damallsvensk match attracted so many people to the stands.

The previous audience record was set in a series final in 2008, when Linköping hosted Umeå in front of 9413 spectators.

So it fought with a bang now.

- It's absolutely fantastic.

It's powerful, says Janogy - who received warm applause when she was replaced in the final stages - to SVT.

The home victory means that Hammarby climbs one place and is fifth.

AIK remains in the penultimate place, with eight points down to Växjö.
