Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi wins the presidency of the Asian Fencing Federation

Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Arab and UAE Federations, won the presidency of the Asian Fencing Federation after winning 24 votes out of a total of 38 votes, compared to 14 votes for his Singaporean rival, Francis Kong.

This came during the elections for the new session of the Asian Union, which took place today in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, on the sidelines of the meeting of the General Assembly of the Asian Union, which was attended, either by direct attendance or via video call, by representatives of 38 Asian countries.
