The UAE national football team coach, Dutch Marvik, said, "The team's loss against its guest, the Iranian team, with a goal of zero in the World Cup qualifiers in the third round today, is unfortunate, but the opportunity to qualify is still there despite the loss."

He stressed that the team will work to compensate in the meeting with Iraq, and that it has seven matches in which everything is possible, and nothing has ended so far.

He stressed in today's press conference that the third place that the team currently occupies is not bad, but also qualifies for the World Cup.

"I do not blame the players for this result, this is football and we will continue to fight to reach the World Cup," Marvik added.

Marvik stressed that he will work to get the players out of the current situation after this loss, in preparation for the next meeting with Iraq on the 12th of this month.
