Kwon Soon-woo made a big mark in the history of Korean tennis.

It is the first time in 18 years for a Korean player to win the men's professional tennis ATP tournament.

Kwon Soon-woo, ranked 82nd in the world, faced Duckworth of Australia, who was ranked 65th, in the Astana Open final.

In the first set tie-break, they fell 6-3 to the set point, and miraculously took the first set by dropping five points.

Soon-woo Kwon unilaterally pushed Duckworth, who was shaken sharply, into the 2nd set to win a set score 2-0 and lay down on the court.

It is the first ATP Tour title for a Korean player in 18 years and 8 months since Lee Hyung-taek in 2003.
