Professional baseball Lotte Giants outfielder Min Byung-hun (34) announced his sudden retirement.



Min Byung-hun, who had recently struggled between continuing his active duty life and retirement, made the final decision to retire from active duty today (26th).



Min Byung-hun, who wore a Lotte uniform from the 2018 season, played 342 games for a total of four seasons until this season, batting 0.286, 28 home runs, and 134 RBIs.



His professional record is 1,438 games, batting average of 0.295, 99 home runs, and 578 RBIs.



Min Byung-hun, who underwent brain aneurysm surgery in January, plans to focus on treatment after retirement.



Through the club, Min Byung-hun said, "I was happy to be able to spend the end of my playing career at Lotte. I wanted to help the club a little more, but it is very unfortunate."
