Yusuf Mirza injured during his participation in the "Grand Prix" tournament in the Czech Republic

Cycling star Yusef Mirza sustained an injury during his participation in the "Grand Prix" championship in the Czech Republic, in which the team is participating with two distinguished cyclists, Youssef Mirza and Ahmed Al-Mansoori, accompanied by coach Abdullah Al-Mansoori.

Mirza's injury came on the closing day.

The Board of Directors of the Federation, headed by Mansour Bouassiba, hoped that the injury would not affect his future official participation.

The Czech race is one of the most important championships on the UCI's calendar due to the large participation of the most important and prominent champions and stars of cycling at the international level, so the Cycling Union was keen to participate in the event.

On the other hand, the Cycling Federation confirmed in a press statement that Mansour Bouassiba participated in the meetings of the International Federation Congress in the Belgian capital, Brussels, which was held on the sidelines of the World Championships, and witnessed the election of the new International Federation board of directors, who will lead the game for the next four years.

Bouassiba shared the UAE's joy at Osama Al Shafar, president of the Asian Confederation, assuming the position of Vice President of the International Federation.

The new position is considered a gain for the Emirates at the international level.
