The German national basketball player Satou Sabally failed with the Dallas Wings in the women's professional league WNBA right at the start of the play-off.

At Chicago Sky, the Texans were defeated on Thursday (local time) in the first round with 64:81.

For Sabally (23) it was the first play-off game of her WNBA career, last year the Berliner had missed the championship round with the Wings.

Sabally hit 50 percent of her throws from the field and got twelve points and four rebounds.

The top scorer for the guests was Arike Ogunbowale (22 points).

At Chicago, Candace Parker managed a double-double with eleven points and 15 rebounds.

Dallas had finished the main round in seventh, Chicago in sixth.

Sabally, who took part in the WNBA Allstar Game for the first time this season, had recently returned to the game after a two-month break due to persistent Achilles tendon problems.
