The return of the junior basketball competitions in the Emirates

The Competitions Committee of the Basketball Association has set, next October, a date for the return of the age-level competitions, after they were absent last year due to the precautionary measures related to the Corona pandemic.


On October 12, the General Youth League will cut the first stage competitions, with the participation of 10 clubs, namely Al-Nasr, Sharjah, Al-Wasl, Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Bataeh, Baniyas, Al-Wahda, Al-Jazeera, Al-Ain, and the "Dubai Tribe" Academy.


In turn, the General Junior League will start on the 15th of the same month, with the participation of 11 teams, namely Al Wasl, Al Nasr, Shabab Al Ahly, Sharjah, Al Bataeh, Al Jazira Al Hamr, Bani Yas, Al Wahda, Al Jazira, Al Ain and the “Dubai Tribe” Academy


. On October 14, with the launch of the Emirates League, in which competition is limited to six clubs: Shabab Al-Ahly, Sharjah, Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Al-Bataeh, and Al-Wahda.
