A shocking decision from Al-Ahly .. Musimani's last chance to avoid dismissal

A source revealed to "Emirates Today" about a shocking decision for South African coach Pitso Mosimane, after the planning committee settled in agreement with the club's president to give him a last chance in the Egypt Cup before deciding whether he should stay with the Red Castle or not.

The sources confirmed that if Musimani does not win the Egypt Cup, a decision will be issued to dismiss him and sign a new foreign coach.

The South African coach's shares had fallen sharply within Al-Ahly club, following the loss of the Egyptian Super Cup, in front of Talaa El-Gaish in penalty kicks, which is the second local championship that Al-Ahly lost in less than a month.

Al-Ahly club took a decision to punish the players of the first football team with a deduction of 300,000 pounds for each individual, and to sign financial discounts on the coach and his assistant staff, in addition to the club’s administrative and medical staff.

Voices rose within Al-Ahly to appoint an assistant coach from the club's sons to help Musimani, and the candidate for this position is Alaa Mihoub, Hani Ramzy and Imad Al-Nahhas, the current Al-Mokawloon coach.
