The crisis is near in Catalonia.

A week after the slap against Bayern Munich (3-0) in C1, FC Barcelona was scared Monday at the end of the 5th day of Liga, by winning an unexpected draw 1-1 at Camp Nou against Granada thanks to a goal snatched from the head in the 90th by Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo.

Injury in shambles, no stars and a mixed result ... The grimace that split the face of coach Ronald Koeman at the end of the match on Monday night sums up the bad patch currently going through the Catalan club.

An unexpected result given the turn of the match, but which gives Ronald Koeman a reprieve: Barça goes back to 7th place in the standings, although he only has two victories after four La Liga games.

Camp Nou behind Koeman

Already in the hot seat before the match, the Dutch technician did not dispel all doubts after this performance.

Koeman is indeed threatened by an eviction according to the Catalan press, but the supporters gave him their support Monday evening by posting a banner "Força Koeman" ("Hold on Koeman" in Catalan) in the stands of their mythical enclosure.

At a post-match press conference, he appeared both tense and annoyed by the critics.

“We leave unhappy, because it is a match that we should have won at home.

But with everything that happened to us, we did our best.

(…) Once again, today's Barça is not the Barça of eight years ago, he recalled.

If we look at the list of summoned players, what more should I have done?

Play tiki-taka when there were no spaces?

No, we did the right thing.

I'm going to stop there because I feel like I have to argue about everything ”.
