The decision of the President of the Economic Court of Madrid No. 17, Manuel Ruiz de Lara, must be executed within five days.

UEFA is obliged to publish a statement of action taken on the official website.

If the organization ignores this decision, then its president, Alexander Čeferin, can be held accountable.

According to the judge's verdict, "UEFA's actions do not comply with the law" and "endanger the principle of free competition."

In May 2021, 12 European clubs - Real, Barcelona, ​​Atletico (all - Spain), Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham (all England), Juventus, Inter and Milan (all Italy) attempted to organize a tournament called the Super League to replace the Champions League.
