This is the shock of the 6th day of Ligue 1. PSG receives OL at 9 pm a few days after the disappointing draw conceded in Bruges in the Champions League (1-1). The formidable Parisian armada will have to confirm all the hopes placed in it against Olympique Lyonnais, who has often played spoilers against the club of the capital.

PSG and its stars must do better this Sunday.

The Parisians welcome the Lyonnais to the Parc des Princes (9 pm) for one of the first shocks of the season in Ligue 1. Held in check this week by Club Bruges (1-1) in the Champions League, Lionel's partners Messi want to revive and increase their lead at the top of the French championship, especially on the occasion of the Argentine's debut in his new garden.

It will be a hell of a test for Olympique Lyonnais, 7th and already left behind by the capital club in the standings, at the dawn of the 6th day of Ligue 1.

Olympique Lyonnais on a good dynamic

The Argentinian playmaker could hardly have dreamed of a better poster for his first home game, in front of nearly 50,000 supporters and with the return of traditional Paris Saint-Germain music. Olympique Lyonnais, despite a difficult start to the season, remains one of the main tormentors of PSG version Qatar, with often spectacular matches. Lyon is also on a good footing, after its victory this week in the Europa League against the Scottish Glasgow Rangers (2-0). Dutch OL coach Peter Bosz has no problem.

"It's not a test, it's an important match for us. We want to win it," said the Lyon coach.

Who can rely on the performance of last year, when Lyon won 1-0 on the lawn of the Parc des Princes and cut the road to the title to the Parisians.

At the time, the capital club was going through a complicated period.

The Brazilian Neymar was injured, coach Thomas Tuchel was living his last hours on the Paris bench.

His Argentine successor, Mauricio Pochettino, knows what to expect.

Kylian Mbappé in the PSG group

"I think it's going to be a difficult match. Lyon are a very good team, with great players. The rivalry is there. It will be a tough match," said the Parisian coach. If Kylian Mbappé, uncertain after his injury in Bruges, appears well in the PSG group, Marco Verratti and Sergio Ramos are still missing. The leader of Ligue 1 will nevertheless be able to count on his impressive armada with Lionel Messi, Neymar or Angel Di Maria.
