"Soft sex" runs matches for Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the Egyptian League

The head of the new referees committee in the Egyptian Football Association, Essam Abdel-Fattah, revealed his intention to advance rulings in the Premier League for football in its new version.

Abdel-Fattah said in televised statements: “New referees will appear in the Premier League, and we have already started preparing more than one wise who demonstrated high capabilities during their management of matches in international and Arab tournaments, including Hanadi Hassan, Sarah Samir, and international assistant Mona Atallah.”

He added, "I am not ashamed to say that Egypt has referees whose level is better than the rulers who appeared in the Egyptian league over the past years, and everyone will be sure of the truth of my words when the referees appear in the new season."

Abdel-Fattah indicated: “We have a plan to develop the level of football referees in Egypt. I am convinced that the level of these referees qualifies them to manage matches for Al-Ahly and Zamalek, and I am confident of their success.”

Mona Atallah is the first female referee for men's football in Egypt, as she managed a meeting in the third division between Helwan and Abu Nomros teams.
