Brynäs had not taken three points against Djurgården in Stockholm in almost three years.

But when Anton Rödin made it 1-0 in the first period and Tom Hedberg via his first SHL goal extended at the beginning of the third, it looked good.

But then Djurgården would catch up.

With 4.5 minutes left, Linus Videll in Djurgården himself grabbed the puck in the middle zone and a few seconds later he had on his own gone through a passive visiting defense and scored the reduction puck.

Match penalty at Mylläri

When the puck was then released, the next situation came that took the home team into the match.

Brynäs defender Anton Mylläri handed out a knee tackle which made him go out and shower.

With just over four minutes left, games in numerical superiority for Djurgården awaited the period out.

Brynäs struggled to keep their lead, but with only 16 seconds left, the Gävle team had to capitulate.

Linus Videll got the puck at one of the technical circles and via a delicious pass through the entire Brynäs four-man box, he found Marcus Sörensen who sent in his first goal of the season.

Tom Nilsson decided

In the ensuing extra time, it was Djurgården who picked up the extra points.

Hill Tom Nilsson hung on offensively and in front of the box he got the puck from Sörensen and could nicely wall it further into the net behind Brynäs goalkeeper, Viktor Andrén.

Afterwards, Linus Videll was anything but happy with the team effort.

- We were so fucking bad today and I was disappointed.

I was worst on the ice in two periods.

But we have a fucking will in the team and manage to find a way to win.

Then Mantas (Armalis) is fantastic in the box that gives us the chance to win, Videll told C More afterwards.

Videll had no good answer as to why it looked like this.

- It looked like no one out there had their legs today.

Our forwards were under all criticism. I do not know what it is, maybe anxiety after losing the first match at home.

We had better pressure on training yesterday and I have no idea why it looked like this.

But it is strong of us to continue the war and take two points.
