Kano, who participated in the second round, won three games and advanced to the semi-finals.

In the semi-final, he played against Sei Komata, and during the match, Kano had an accident with his right hand and right foot holding a sword, leading him to 5-9 and 4 points at one point.

Even so, I decided the counter to match the opponent's attack and took 6 consecutive points, so I reversed and won 15 to 12 and decided to advance to the final for the first time.

Kano said, "I was so busy after the Olympics that I couldn't practice half of the time, but I fought with the feeling of going to the final. I was talking.
