The new FIBA ​​ranking witnessed a giant leap for the Syrian team, advancing 10 positions at once, and "Nour Qasioun", according to the latest ranking, 82nd in the world, and 17th in Asia, with a score of 115.4 points.


In the new classification, the US and Spain maintained their first and second positions, with 765.2 points for the US team, and 722.4 points for Spain, while Australia ranked third in the world and first among the Asian teams with 690.5 points.


The new classification also witnessed clear progress for many Arab countries, most notably Tunisia, which gave it the African title last week, advancing four places on the global ranking ladder, so that the "Carthage Eagles" ranked 30th globally with a score of 326.5 points.


It also emerged at the level of the Arab teams, the Jordanian teams advanced to one rank, occupying the 39th place in the world with a score of 267.4 points.
