It is a return to say the least shattering.

Several former glories of Biarritz Olympique (Baby, Milhères, Yachvili, Thion, Couzinet, Marlu and Harinordoquy) have decided to return to their club of hearts.

All were elected at the head of the association in a very specific context because of the conflict between the town hall and the current management embodied by Jean-Baptiste Aldigé.

The former president had announced his resignation to Sébastien Beauville because of his opposition to Aldigé, in particular on the relocation of certain BO matches in Lille.

The management of the club hoped for its part to install Serge Blanco, a winger, at the head of the association.

It is therefore quite a dramatic turn of events.

For now, the old glories of the 2000s now at the head of the amateur section want to play appeasement with Aldigé.

On the family photo, we can notice the presence of the mayor of Biarritz, Maider Arosteguy, at war for months with the current president of the BO.

As for the latter, he simply congratulated the new office by recalling that it is "temporary" pending the December elections.

It remains to be seen whether Serge Blanco will present himself against the old glories.
