Along with the autumn national traffic safety campaign, a police station in Hyogo Prefecture has produced a video in which Hotaru Yamaguchi of the soccer J League and Vissel Kobe calls for "fair play even on the road."

The approximately 40-second video was produced by the Ikuta Police Station in Kobe City with the cooperation of VISSEL KOBE in conjunction with the autumn national traffic safety campaign starting on the 21st of this month.

After Yamaguchi, who wore a police officer's uniform and cap, appealed for ensuring the safety of pedestrians and raising awareness about safe driving at dusk and night, "Let's follow fair play and traffic rules even on the road. ".

Last season, Yamaguchi was the only team member to participate in all league games and won the J-League "Fair Play Individual Award" without a single yellow card.

According to the Hyogo Prefectural Police, the number of accidents resulting in injury or death in the prefecture, which was about 27,000 five years ago, decreased to about 17,000 last year, but 110 people have died.

The Ikuta Police Station wants drivers to understand and follow the rules like Yamaguchi, in order to eliminate tragic accidents.

This video can be viewed on the official channel of the Hyogo Prefectural Police Headquarters on the video posting site "YouTube".
