Manchester City sweeps Leipzig in the European Champions

 Manchester City defeated its German guest, Leipzig, 6-3, today, Wednesday, in the first round of Group A of the European Champions League.

Dutchman Nathan Ake advanced to Manchester City in the 16th minute, before Leipzig's Nordi Mukele scored the second goal for the English team by an own goal in the 28th minute.

In the 42nd minute, Christopher Nkunku scored the first goal for Leipzig, before Algerian Riyad Mahrez scored the third goal for Manchester City from a penalty kick in the second minute of the first half.

In the 51st minute, Nkunku scored the second goal for him and Leipzig, before City returned to score the fourth goal through Jack Grealish in the 56th minute.

Nkunku scored the third goal for him and his team in the 73rd minute, but Joao Cancelo scored the fifth goal for City in the 75th minute, then the Brazilian Gabriel Jesus concluded his team's six in the 85th minute.

Leipzig completed the match with ten men, after its player Angelino was sent off in the 79th minute after receiving a second yellow card.
