Medvedev won the first set against Djokovic in the US Open final

The 25-year-old Russian won the first set 6-4.

The match between Medvedev and Djokovic takes place at the Arthur Ash Stadium in New York.

For the Russian, this is the second career finals at the US Open.

The Serb is a 20-time champion of the Grand Slam tournaments and, if he wins, will become the owner of the calendar Grand Slam.
