A Danish second-division football match was suspended on Saturday after a player collapsed on the pitch and an electric shock device was used to rescue him.

This incident brought to mind the collapse of the Danish national team captain Christian Eriksen at Euro 2020.

Wissam Abu Ali, 22, a player for the Windcicil team, fell on the field about 60 minutes after the match against Lyngby, and received treatment on the field, according to the "Ritzau" news agency.

Abu Ali was taken to hospital unconscious, according to the Nordiski newspaper.

Another terrifying scene in Danish football.

First it was Christian Eriksen, then Ahmed Daghim and Wessam Abou Ali has also just collapsed in a game between Vendsyssel FF and Lyngby, and he has been taken to the hospital.

Vindesciel confirmed that Abu Ali's condition is improving after he collapsed during the match, which was stopped, while the result indicated a 1-1 draw, but without specifying the date for the completion of the match.

The captain of the Danish national team, Eriksen, suffered a heart attack during the match against Finland, and was treated on the field before being fitted with a defibrillator.
