Emirates horses achieve the "hat-trick"

Hurricane Lane with the Godolphin logo grabs the British "St Leger Stakes" title

Hurricane Lane, with the Godolphin logo, and under the supervision of coach Charlie Appleby, won the title of the world's most prestigious classic race, the "St Leger Stakes", which was held yesterday at the British Doncaster Racecourse, in its 243rd edition, and ran for a distance of 2,921 meters grass.

The UAE horses continued their brilliance on the ancient British track, achieving a triple, in the seven runs that included the race. In addition to the victory of Hurricane Lane, the horse Glorias Journey succeeded in the logo of the Her Highness Sheikha Al Jalila Racing Team, under the supervision of coach Charlie Appleby, and the leadership of jockey William Buick, in winning the Park Stakes title, before going to Godolphin in the final round, with the victory of "Royal Fleet" under the supervision of Appleby with the title (Firmantia Handicap).

Hurricane Lane, led by William Buick, knew how to stay close to the front constellation, before the jockey unleashed the horse strongly, entering the last corner in the race, bypassing his competitors, and taking the lead towards winning the race, with a record time of three minutes, four seconds and 28 a split second.

On the other hand, the attention of international horse racing enthusiasts today is directed to Longsham Racecourse in the French capital, Paris, in a race whose 43 runs attract the elite horses of the international arena, in their quest to participate in five preparatory championships, enabling them to reserve their seats for the Arc de Triomphe or "Arc" ceremony. The French, on the third of next October, will be preceded by five horses with the "Godolphin" logo, and under the supervision of coach Andre Fabre, the skilled "Philomene", who aspires to the title of the main race "Bre Vermin" for the horses of the first category, "Group 1", stands out.

The horse "Splemmes" carries the "Godolphin" flag, in the competition for the second major championships, "Pre-Foy", which takes place in the third round, and is dedicated to the horses of the second category, "Group 2".

Philomene's chances of competing for the 2,400-meter Prix Fermin race are based on her endurance capabilities, which led her to the start of the season last April, with an easy victory in the Prix Penelope for the third category.

Godolphin filly Philomene is claiming the title of the Bree Fermin run in France today.
