The favorites are there;

in any case, three of the four teams qualified for the semi-finals of the African volleyball championship were expected at this stage.

Only Morocco acts as a small "surprise" after having released in the quarterfinals the host country, Rwanda.

Otherwise, the eternal Tunisia and Egypt, and Cameroon, to a lesser extent, are there.

The Tunisians, double title holders, 10 times crowned (a record) had no trouble overcoming the defeated Democratic Republic of Congo, 3-0 (25-22, 25-17,25-21) .

In the semi-final, Tunisia will meet its eternal rival in a poster that looks like a final.

Moreover, six of the last ten finals of the African volleyball championship have opposed these two most successful teams on the continent.

Egypt, 6 titles between 2005 and 2015, took out Uganda, not without difficulty after losing the first set (30-28, 25-18, 25-16,25-21).

The second semi-final will oppose Cameroon to Morocco.

The Cameroonians, vice-champions of Africa, dismissed Nigeria 3-1 (25-19, 25-27, 25-19,25-20) and therefore inherited Morocco which ended the course of Rwanda, the host country (3-0).
