It was a hot start in Luleå when Linköping came to visit.

During the first ten minutes, eight minutes of suspension had been awarded.

During the last of these, Linköping's Arvid Costmar found his way behind the recently NHL-drafted Jesper Wallstedt with his third SHL goal in his career in powerplay.

Before that, Luleå's returning Austrian Konstantin Komarek had deliciously played Vilmos Gallo to 1-0.

And this was Komarek's match.

Early in the second period, he then made himself 2-1, but he was not happy there.

Barely six minutes into the third period, he hit a pass that cut through the Linköping defense and gave Juhani Tyrväinen an open goal in powerplay and 3-2 was a fact.

With just over a minute left, the Austrian then set the final score at 5-2 in the open goal.

- I had a bad pre-season and wanted to step in and do well and show what I stand for.

Since it will be four points, it was great fun, but the most important thing is that we win the match, says the hero in C More.

The new acquisition Komarek came to Luleå for the first time as a junior from Austria in 2008 and remained in Norrbotten for four seasons.

He managed to make his debut in the then elite series before returning to Austria and EC Salzburg in 2012.

In the spring of 2020, he ended the season in Luleå and made 19 appearances before leaving the club again.
